Scholarship applications for Sparta high school women (Seniors) are available in the guidance offices of Sparta High School, Pope John XXIII Regional High School, and Sussex County Technical School.

For a woman who has had an interruption in completing her educational goals and is now seeking to further her studies, applications are available at Project Self Sufficiency (PSS).

All scholarship applications are also available at Sparta Library.

Completed applications must be returned to your high school guidance counselor or received by Sparta Woman's Club Education Chair, by April 20, 2019.

For further information or any additonal questions, please contact our Education Chairperson through our Contact Us page on this website.

Best of luck to all our 2019 applicants!

Girls' Career Institute (GCI)
June 3 - June 6, 2019
Girls' Career Institute is an annual program for high school Junior girls, held at Douglass College and sponsored by the New Jersey State Federation of Women's Clubs.

Each year Sparta Woman’s Club sponsors a delegate to GCI and under-writes her cost to attend. Delegates are selected on the basis of interest, community service and participation in school activities. They will be part of a “mini college experience” by living in a dorm on Rutgers’ campus, while attending lectures and workshops to learn about innovative career choices and campus life.

Sparta Woman’s Club is proud to announce our 2018 Girls' Career Institute delegate is Marie Homentosky, a Junior at Kittatinny Regional High School. Marie is class Vice-President, on the Academic Team and Math League, and active in track and field sports at her school.  In addition, she still finds free time to volunteer at her church.

Congratulations Marie!  Enjoy your program at Rutgers!
